Zusammenfassung

Die Ursachen der oberen gastrointestinalen Blutung sind Ulzera, Ösophagusvarizen, Osophagitis, Gastritis und das Mallory-Weiss-Syndrom (Tabelle 1). Eine besondere Bedeutung kommt dem Ulcus ventriculi und duodeni wegen der Häufigkeit der Blutungen, es sind immerhin fast 50%, und der Ösophagusvarizenblutung wegen der hohen Mortalität von 58% zu [19, 21, 26, 33, 34, 41, 57, 69, 87, 97, 98, 101].
