Abstract

The horny layer stripping method may be used in both experimental and diagnostic investigations, first to reduce or to remove the horny layer and second to collect samples of horny material for various analytical studies. The following report concerns the transparency of stripped horny layer samples. This can be measured by the original method of Suter [9]. However, we did not use this method, but a measuring device of our own [5].
