Zusammenfassung

Das Peritoneum (Bauchfell) zählt zusammen mit Pleura und Perikard zu den serösen Häuten. Sein parietales Blatt (Peritoneum parietale) bedeckt die Innenseite der Bauchhöhle, sein viszerales Blatt (Peritoneum viscerale) die Oberfläche der intraperitoneal gelegenen Bauch- und Beckenorgane. Bei der Frau steht die Pe-ritonealhöhle über das äußere Tubenostium mit der Außenwelt in Verbindung (→ Möglichkeit der Keim-aszension), beim Mann ist die Bauchhöhle geschlos-sen.
