Zusammenfassung
Bald werden es 25 Jahre her sein, seit John Charnley in Wrightington seine erste Totalprothese einsetzte, und 17 Jahre, seitdem die Charnley- und Müller-Prothesen nach gemeinsamer Absprache 1966 im Anschluß an den SICOT-Kongreß in Paris kommerzialisiert wurden [1,9].
