Die Hypoglykämie wird als wichtigste Komplikation der Insulintherapie ausführlicher besprochen. Unter SH kommt es zwar nur selten, gelegentlich jedoch zu schweren Hypoglykämien, unter Biguaniden nicht (s. Kap. 5).
