Abstract
During the past 2½ years, in 96 patients undergoing elective coronary artery bypass graft surgery, fibrin adhesive was used 112 times. The indications were:
-
1.
prophylactic sealing of potential sources of bleeding and
-
2.
topical hemostasis (control of bleeding sites dangerous or difficult to suture).
