Zusammenfassung

Bösartige Geschwülste des Oropharynx, des Mundbodens und der Mundhöhle kommen mit einer Häufigkeit von 2–5% aller Malignome vor. 90% sind Plattenepithelkarzinome (Batsakis 1979; Fayos 1981; Koch 1974; Million et al. 1982; Spiessl 1966). Tumoren anderer Histologie sind selten.
