Mit der Einführung der Faktor VIII-Hochkonzentrate Ende der 60er Jahre sowie der Heimselbstbehandlung Mitte der 70er Jahre konnte die Entstehung der hämophilen Arthropathie wesentlich verlangsamt werden.
