Zusammenfassung
Intakte Monocyten-(Mo) Funktion ist eine conditio sine qua non für den ungestörten Ablauf zellvermittelter Immunmechanismen (CMI). Aus der Reihe der bisher charakterisierten Mo-Dysfunktionen nach Trauma sind vor allem verminderte Kapazität der Antigenpräsentation und alterierte Monokinsyntheseverhalten zu nennen (1, 3, 4, 7). Insbesondere das von uns nach schwerer Mehrfachverletzung gezeigte Shifting der Monokinausschüttung mit hoher Syntheserate des suppressorisch immunreaktiven PGE2 zuungunsten der IL-1-Synthese ist ein essentielles Charakteristicum verminderter CMI (2).
