Abstract
This paper reports on an evaluation of real time properties of MAP networks. Measurements for delay and response time of the transport oriented layers (1 .. 4) are presented and some of the most important parameters affecting the real time behaviour of the transport system are discussed. Based on synchronized clocks a distributed test system for testing the application service in a real time environment is presented, which is still in progress.
Zusammenfassung
In diesem Beitrag wird der Zeitbedarf für die Kommunikationsaufträge in MAP-Netzen diskutiert. Anschließend werden Zeitmessungen an den transportorientierten Schichten (1 .. 4) vorgestellt. Hierbei werden die wichtigsten Einflußgrößen auf den Zeitbedarf herausgearbeitet. Schließlich wird ein verteiltes Testsystem vorgestellt, das es gestattet mit Hilfe von synchronen Uhren Aussagen über den Zeitbedarf zur Abwicklung der Anwenderdienste in Realzeitumgebung zu treffen.
