  • Chapter
Fractures of the Acetabulum

Abstract

By 1 May 1990 we had operated upon 569 patients 1 with acetabular injuries within 3 weeks of injury, and of these, 544 had a minimum follow-up period of 1 year. However, 13 patients had died soon after operation, and 39 had been lost to follow-up less than 1 year after surgery, so 492 hips were available for evaluation.
