Zusammenfassung
Retrorektale oder präsakrale Tumoren sind selten. Der Retrorektalraum liegt zwischen dem oberen Rektum und dem Os sacrum. Er wird ventral durch die Fascia propria des Rektums, dorsal durch die prä sakrale Faszie und lateral durch die Ureteren und die Iliakalgefäße begrenzt. Nach kaudal hin ist er durch die Rektosakralfaszie abgegrenzt, nach kranial kommuniziert er mit dem Retroperitonealraum. Die Rektosakralfaszie trennt den Retrorektalraum vom Raum oberhalb des Levators, einem hufeisenförmiger Raum, der ventral durch das Septum rectovesicale und kaudal durch den M. levator ani begrenzt wird. Der Retrorektalraum besteht aus lockerem Bindegewebe, kann aber unterschiedliche embryonale Überreste enthalten.
