Zusammenfassung

Bei der kardiovaskulären und der respiratorischen Therapie von Intensivpatienten ist es selbstverständlich, die Wirkungen und Nebenwirkungen der Therapie und der angewendeten Medikamente zu überwachen, wenn möglich sogar kontinuierlich. Hierzu stehen eine Reihe von invasiven und nichtinvasiven Monitorsystemen zur Verfügung, die entsprechend den individuellen medizinischen Problemen des Patienten abgestuft eingesetzt werden können.
