Zusammenfassung
Die konventionelle Nasenzytologie beruht auf dem Prinzip der Exfoliativzytologie, untersucht zellhaltiges Sekret der Nasenschleimhaut (Abb. 2) und bedient sich im Unterschied zur Immunzytochemie herkömmlicher Färbemethoden. Im zytologischen Präparat findet man Schleim, Epithelien des mehrreihigen Flimmerepithels (Nasenhaupthöhle) und ihrer angrenzenden Regionen (Vestibulum nasi, Nasopharynx) sowie ausgereifte Zellen der Myelomono- und Lymphopoese.
