Abstract
The laparoscopic treatment of varicocele has been proposed by several authors [1–3]. This new technique has increased the already considerable divergence of opinion about the ideal method of varicocele correction. Laparoscopic spermatic vein ligation is based on the high ligation method, whose percentage of recurrences is due to the presence of venous collaterals [4,5].
