Zusammenfassung
Im Vergleich zur operativen Laparoskopie steckt die hysteroskopische Chirurgie in Deutschland noch in den Kinderschuhen. Ähnlich wie im gesamten Bereich der minimal invasiven Chirurgie beobachtet man jedoch auch im Bereich der hystero-skopischen Chirurgie in den letzten Jahren einen deutlichen Aufschwung. Dies liegt sicher zum einen an dem zunehmend deutlicher werdenden Bewußtseins-wandel hin zur Organerhaltung bei unseren Patientinnen — nicht zuletzt auch unter der Kollegenschaft, zum anderen jedoch auch an dem tatsächlich minimal invasiven, transzervikalen Zugang, der Operationen am Uterus ohne äußerlich sichtbare Operationsfolgen zuläßt. Bevor jedoch eine neue — weniger invasive — Methode bewährte Standardoperationen ergänzen oder gar ersetzen kann, gilt es, drei wesentliche Fragen zu klären

Ist die Effektivität, d.h. die Wahrscheinlichkeit, mit welcher die zu Grunde liegende Störung tatsächlich behoben wird, vergleichbar?

Welche Nachteile, insbesondere Komplikationen, müssen bei Einsatz dieser Methode im Vergleich zur Standardtherapie in Kauf genommen werden?
