Zusammenfassung
Colitis ulcerosa ist gekennzeichnet durch entzündliche Prozesse in der Darmwand und durch Diarrhoe, deren pathophysiologischer Mechanismus nicht aufgeklärt ist. Es ist bisher bekannt, daß der Gesamtwiderstand der Darmwand verringert ist [3, 5]. Zur genaueren Aufklärung des Diarrhoemechanismus haben wir den epithelialen Widerstand und den aktiven Ionentransport an intraoperativ gewonnenen Sigmaresektaten von an florider Colitis ulcerosa erkrankten Patienten untersucht. Als Kontrollen dienten nicht entzündlich veränderte Sigmaresektate von Karzinompatienten.
