Zur Beurteilung einzelner Nierenfunktionen werden zunehmend Untersuchungen mit Hilfe radioaktiv markierter Substanzen herangezogen, obwohl mit konventionellen Methoden (Inulin-, Paraaminohippursäure-, Kreatininclearance-bestimmungen) anscheinend bereits zufriedenstellende Ergebnisse erzielt werden können.
