Zusammenfassung

Seit etwa zwei Jahrzehnten ist bekannt, daß radioaktiv markierte Kolloide nach subkutaner oder intrakutaner Applikation in den regionären Lymphknoten abgelagert werden (Jackson u. Hahn, 1955; Kellershohn u. Beniboux, 1958; Sherman u. Ter Pogossian, 1953). Die Kolloide werden nach interstitieller Applikation ausschließlich auf dem Lymphweg abtransportiert, weil sie infolge ihrer Partikelgröße die Wände der Blutkapillaren nicht passieren können. Lymphknotenmetastasen solider Tumoren nehmen praktisch kein Kolloid auf (Fontaine et al., 1956; Hahn u. Carothers, 1953; Kottmeier u. Moberger, 1955; Leborgne et al., 1955; Seaman u. Power, 1955). Die ersten klinischen Lymphuntersuchungen mit Radiogoldkolloid wurden von Hultborn et al., 1955, die die Radioaktivitätsablagerung in den axillären Lymphknoten nach Applikation in die Mamma gemessen haben, durchgeführt. Malek und Vavrejn (1960) studierten den vom Injektionsort abhängigen Transport in verschiedenen Lymphbahnen der unteren Extremität. Lang (1960), Sage et al. (1960) und Gest (1963) veröffentlichten die ersten Lymphknotenszintigramme. Aufgrund eingehender tierexperimenteller und klinischer Untersuchungen publizierte zum Winkel (1963 a) eine klinisch brauchbare Methode zur Durchführung der Lymphoszintigraphie im retroperitonealen, axillären und zervikalen (Schwab et al., 1964) Bereich.
