Zusammenfassung
Die biochemische Analyse der chronischen Polyarthritiden sollte vorwiegend das Organ bzw. das Bindegewebssystem, das bei diesen Erkrankungen befallen ist, betreffen. Ich werde mich deshalb im wesentlichen mit der Pathobiochemie des synovialen Systems beschäftigen, das eine Funktionseinheit von Gelenkknorpel, Gelenkkapsel und Synovialflüssigkeit darstellt. Zu den Grundsubstanzen des Bindegewebes gehören die Proteoglykane, die im Mittelpunkt dieser pathobiochemischen Betrachtung stehen sollen.
