Abstract

One of the ways in which microemulsion systems manifest themselves is in the form of colloidal spheres [1] (Schulman-model). In the microemulsion literature one speaks of the Droplet Model of a microemulsion. Small water droplets, stabilized by a protecting surface layer of long-chain surfactant molecules, are dispersed in “oil”.
