Abstract

In this session a broad range of topics and geographical areas have been addressed. Advances to the science of calculating ice forces have taken more of the form of organizational advances as opposed to real advances in the theoretical basis for calculating ice forces over the past five years. The alternative design methodologies presented reflect the degree of uncertainty that currently prevails for certain failure modes.
