The Skin: Initiation and Target Site of Immune Responses

  • Conference paper
Skin Carcinogenesis in Man and in Experimental Models

Part of the book series: Recent Results in Cancer Research ((RECENTCANCER,volume 128))

Abstract

During the past 15 years, increasing evidence has accumulated that the skin, in addition to its target role in immune reactions, contains the cellular elements which are needed for the initiation and expression of the immune response.
