Zusammenfassung

Die idiopathische Hämochromatose (I.H.), eine in ihren Einzelheiten nicht geklärte Störung der Eisenbilanz des Organismus, hat in letzter Zeit vielfaches Interesse gewonnen. Im Jahre 1964 hat Schumacher (4) erstmals eine spezifische Arthropathie bei der I.H. beschrieben. Seine Beobachtungen wurden in der Folgezeit mehrfach bestätigt und vervollständigt (5, 1, 2, 3). In den Jahren 1975 und 1976 (6, 7) wurde eine Assoziation der I.H. mit dem Antigen A3 des HLA-Systems festgestellt. Uns interessierte die Nosologie der Arthropathie bei der I. H. sowie die Genetik der I.H. und ihrer Arthropathie im Zusammenhang mit dem HLA-System.
