Zusammenfassung

Die Erkennung der anatomischen Einzelheiten des Schädels im Röntgenbild ist schwierig. Nach den Gesetzen der Zentralprojektion verändern sich Form und Größe der anatomischen Anteile des kompliziert gebauten Schädels je nach der Lagerung des Kopfes und der Richtung des Zentralstrahles in bezug auf den Röntgenfilm bis zu Verzerrungen der Abbildung, die mit der ursprünglichen Form der anatomischen Einzelheit scheinbar keinen erkennbaren Zusammenhang mehr haben.

Abstract

The recognition of the anatomic details of the skull on the radiograph proves difficult. Shape and size of anatomic details of the complicately built skull structure change, following the rules of central projection, depending on the recumbent position of the head and the direction of the central ray in relation to the x-ray film. These changes may even produce distortions of the picture, which have seemingly no recognizable connection any more with the original shape of the anatomic detail.

Résumé

II est difficile de reconnaître, sur une radiographie, les détails anatomiques du crâne. Conformément aux lois de la projection centrale, la forme et la taille des pièces anatomiques complexes, qui le constituent, se modifient suivant la position de la tête et la direction du rayon central par rapport à la plaque, jusqu’à distorsion complète de l’image, dans laquelle il devient alors impossible de reconnaître l’objet initial.

La identificación de los detalles anatómicos del cráneo en la imágen radiológica es difícil. De acuerdo con las leyes de proyección central, la forma y tamaño de las complicadas formas anatómicas del cráneo se modifican en la radiografía conforme a la posición de la cabeza y a la dirección del rayo central en relación a la película; puede así resultar una imagen que aparentemente no tiene relación alguna con la forma original de las estructuras anatómicas.
