Zusammenfassung
Ohne Zweifel treibt der Arzt stündig eine wirksame Prophylaxe des Herzstillstandes, z.B. wenn er herzwirksame Medikamente exakt dosiert, wenn er Atropin vor der Narkose-Einleitung gibt, wenn er Narkotica vermeidet, die öfter Herzstillstäande verursachen usw.
Daß Vorbeugung besser als Behandlung ist, wird nirgends so deutlich wie beim Herzstillstand, dessen Behandlung oft zu spät kommt, schwierig und reich an Komplikationsmöglichkeiten ist und nicht immer zum Erfolg führt.
