Zusammenfassung

Als Ulcuskomplikationen werden die freie Perforation, die Penetration, die Blutung, die Stenose und beim Ulcus ventriculi die maligne Entartung bezeichnet. Dieses Kapitel beschränkt sich in erster Linie auf die Perforation und die Blutung. Stenose und Blutung sind die Folgen einer Penetration, abhängig von ihrer Lage, Tiefe, Richtung und Geschwindigkeit. Dabei ist die Penetration als das Überschreiten der Organgrenze definiert. Der Malignitätsverdacht beim Magengeschwür ist ein präoperatives diagnostisches Problem, das Eingang findet in die Anzeigestellung zur Operation (s. Kap. 22).
