Zusammenfassung

Der persistierende Ductus arteriosus ist eine angeborene Gefäßanomalie, bei der es sich um eine Kommunikation zwischen Aorta und Truncus pulmonalis, somit um eine arteriovenöse Fistel zwischen Körper- und Lungenkreislauf, handelt. Der persistierende Ductus verbindet die Gegend der Bifurkation der Pulmonalarterie, meist am Abgang des linken, seltener des rechten Astes, mit der Aorta an der Innenseite des Isthmusbereiches bzw. am Übergang des Aortenbogens in die Aorta descendens. Die Länge des Ductus beträgt bis zu 2 cm. Man unterscheidet Zylinder-, Trichter- und Sanduhrformen. Der persistierende Ductus arteriosus gehört zu der Gruppe von Herzfehlern, die beim Fehlen von Komplikationen vermehrt Blut über die Lunge führen. Einbezogen in die vermehrte Volumenbelastung sind der linke Vorhof, der linke Ventrikel, die Aorta ascendens und der Aortenbogen bis zum Abgang des Ductus.
