Zusammenfassung
Komplikationen von seiten des endokrinen Systems können einerseits im Rahmen von Eingriffen bei Patienten mit bekannten endokrinen Erkrankungen auftreten (sei es bei Operationen am endokrinen Organ wie z. B. bei Strumektomie oder Entfernung eines Phäochromozytoms oder bei Eingriffen an anderen Organsystemen, z. B. bei parallel bestehenden abdominellen oder traumatologischen Erkrankungen). Andererseits können bestehende, präoperativ nicht diagnostizierte endokrine Erkrankungen (z. B. Hyperthyreose, Diabetes und Phächromozytom; Lenz et al. 1985) intraoperativ manifest werden und dann erhebliche Probleme verursachen.
