Das menschliche Gehirn ist ein Teil des zentralen Nervensystems und Hauptforschungsgegenstand der Neurowissenschaft. Es besteht aus Neuronen und Gliazellen sowie ihren Verbindungen und beherbergt außerdem Blutgefäße sowie mit Zerebrospinalflüssigkeit gefüllte Leerräume.
