Zusammenfassung
Das Ziel dieses Kapitels ist, Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede im Einsatz von Personalauswahlverfahren in verschiedenen Ländern darzustellen. Dabei stehen die Analyse der Bewerbungsunterlagen und Referenzen, das Einstellungsinterview, Arbeitsproben, Testverfahren, der biografische Fragebogen, Assessment-Center und graphologische Gutachten im Zentrum der Betrachtung. Pro Verfahren der Personalauswahl wird die gegenwärtige Anwendung in diversen Ländern verdeutlicht und durch Rekurs auf Validitätsaspekte auf Divergenzen zwischen wissenschaftlichem Kenntnisstand und praktischer Umsetzung aufmerksam gemacht. Daraus werden Empfehlungen für eine Verbesserung der Personalauswahlpraxis generiert.
