Abstract
In this chapter the specifics of thermoplastic polymers will be discussed along with the resultant behavior with respect to rate of deformation and temperature. Also, the structure of continuous fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP), the manufacturing of thermoplastic CFRP as well as their processing are presented.
