Abstract

On the way to a green energy supply, wind energy plays an important role. In contrast to conventional gas or coal power plants, the power output of wind turbines strongly depends on their location. As the wind potential is also affected by the turbines themselves, the placement of the turbines is especially important and has a significant inuence on the power output.
