Zusammenfassung

Industrie 4.0 hat weitreichende Konsequenzen für etablierte Geschäftsmodelle industrieller Unternehmen. Diese Studie untersucht den Einfluss von Industrie 4.0 auf diese Geschäftsmodelle. Während sich der bisherige Forschungsstand vorwiegend auf einzelne Aspekte der Geschäftsmodellveränderungen fokussiert, wird ein vollständiger Überblick über betroffene Elemente gegeben, die ein Geschäftsmodell nur in ihrer Gesamtheit konstituieren. Hierfür wird ein qualitativexplorativer Fallstudienansatz verfolgt, der 76 Experteninterviews deutscher Industrieunternehmen nutzt. Somit wird ein tiefgehendes und ganzheitliches Verständnis des Einflusses von Industrie 4.0 auf bestehende Geschäftsmodelle produzierender Unternehmen vermittelt. Es wird gezeigt, dass Industrie 4.0 vorwiegend auf das Wertangebot, die interne Infrastruktur und Kundenbeziehungen abzielt. Darüber hinaus stellen wir fest, dass Geschäftsmodellveränderungen durch Industrie 4.0 angebotsgetrieben sind. Diese Veränderungen wiederum resultieren in Modifikationen der verbleibenden Geschäftsmodellbausteine.
