Zusammenfassung

Auch im Management stoßen ältere Paradigmen an ihre Grenzen und werden durch neue ergänzt. Ein solcher Übergang vollzieht sich gegenwärtig bei der Bewältigung des digitalen Wandels, der das traditionelle Management vor große Herausforderungen stellt. Wir beschreiben die bisherigen Stufen des Managements und skizzieren wichtige Treiber auf dem Weg zu einem Management 4.0. Die spannende Frage ist, was an dem Management 4.0-Paradigma neu ist (Servatius in IM+io – best and Next Practices aus Digitalisierung, Management, Wissenschaft 6:6–11, 2019).
