Zusammenfassung
Bei einem relaxierten Patienten ergibt sich die Beatmung allein aus der Einwirkung der Steuerung des Beatmungsgerätes auf die mechanischen Eigenschaften des Lunge-Thorax-Systems, nämlich dessen Compliance und Resistance. Bei vorhandener Eigenatmung kommt eine weitere Komponente hinzu, die Muskeltätigkeit des Patienten.
