Abstract
The microstructure of metals which have been deformed in a plastic manner has been studied with the electron microscope by a number of workers [see, for example, Heidenreich (1); Hirsch, Kelly and Menter (2); Hirsch, Horne and Whelan (3); Bollmann (4)].
