Abstract

The fundamental aim of fracture treatment in the limbs and the spine is the same: the restoration of normal anatomy and painfree function by anatomic reduction, optimal stabilization, atraumatic operative technique and early mobilization. A specific goal is the return of as much function as possible of the injured neural elements.
