Zusammenfassung

Prinzipiell ist die selektive Venenblutentnahme aufgrund der erhöhten Hormonwerte in der Drainagevene zur Lokalisationsdiagnostik hormonsezernierender Raumforderungen geeignet. Generell sollte ein Konzentrationsgradient > 1,5 vorliegen, um zuverlässige Aussagen zur Topographie zu gewinnen. Die zunehmende Sensitivität moderner Schnittbildverfahren sowie neue Therapiekonzepte, die keine Operation und damit keine exakte Lokalisation erfordern (z.B. bei Prolaktinomen), relativieren die Bedeutung dieser Methode.
