Abstract

To provide basic knowledge for their exploitation in association with cereals, nitrogen-fixing Enterobacter agglomerans strains from the rhizosphere of wheat were studied from two view points: 1) The molecular basis of nitrogen fixation, and 2) The risk of gene spread upon release.
