Zusammenfassung

Mit der UVAl-Phototherapie wurde 1991 erstmals eine neue Phototherapieform vorgestellt, die eine wirksame Alternativtherapie in der Behandlung entzündlicher Hauterkrankungen darstellen kann [11–13]. Dabei erfolgt die Bestrahlung mit langwelligem, reinem UVA1-Licht (Emissionsspektrum 340–400 nm). Der fehlende erythematogene, kurzwellige UVA- und UVB-Lichtanteil ermöglicht hierbei die Applikation von UVA 1-Licht in einer Dosierung, welche die bei einer UVA-UVB-Therapie verwendeten Dosen um ein Vielfaches übersteigt (Einzeldosen bis 130 J/cm2, Gesamtdosis bis 1840 J/cm2).
