Abstract

Indeed, I agree with Klausner’s remark that this conference is a little bit unfaithful to Lazarsfeld’s memory as he would have undoubtedly left out the first four sessions, including this one. However, I also believe that much of what has been said by the presentators of this session constitutes a requisite for better understanding of what Lazarsfeld had tried to accomplish as an applied social scientist.
