Zusammenfassung

Zur Wundversorgung bei Menschen mit DFS liegen nur wenige randomisiert kontrollierte Untersuchungen mit dem patientenrelevanten Zielparameter »Abheilung« vor. Die Einflussmöglichkeit von wundversorgenden Maßnahmen auf die großenteils unverstandenen Prozesse der Wundheilung ist zudem begrenzt. Die Therapeuten begleiten den natürlichen Heilungsprozess und halten Störungen ab, wofür zahlreiche Materialien angeboten werden. Bei deren Auswahl kommt es insbesondere darauf an, mögliche Fehler zu vermeiden. Das Kapitel erklärt Grundlagen und bietet einen Überblick auch über lokalchirurgische Maßnahmen.
