Zusammenfassung
Die Fehlverheilung eines Volkmann-Fragmentes kann eine Malunion, d. h. eine Fehlheilung mit Gelenkinkongruenz beinhalten, eine Nonunion im Sinne einer Pseudarthrose oder sie kann einer Kombination beider Pathologien entsprechen. Diese eher seltene Entität nach konservativer oder operativer Behandlung einer trimalleolaren Fraktur des oberen Sprunggelenkes (OSG) ist in der Regel schmerzhaft und führt bei zwangsläufiger Subluxation des Fußes mit Sprungbein, meist nach dorsal, zur raschen Inkongruenzarthrose. Die sekundäre anatomische Rekonstruktion, die hier als Meistertechnik vorgestellt wird, kann eine sonst notwendige, frühe OSG-Arthrodese vermeiden helfen.
