Abstract

In the diagnostic workflow of the vascular malformations, duplex ultrasound represents the basic investigation. This role is related to the large availability of the equipment, the low cost of the investigation, and the absence of radiation exposure. Other interesting features are represented by the lack of invasiveness and real-time investigation.
