Spinale Tumoren bei Kindern

Zusammenfassung

Spinale Tumoren sind eine heterogene Gruppe unterschiedlicher Neoplasien und insgesamt selten. Hierbei handelt es sich sowohl um Neubildungen des Rückenmarks und der Spinalnerven, als auch um tumoröse Prozesse der Wirbelsäulenstrukturen. Etwa 5–10 % aller ZNS-Tumoren im Kindesalter sind intramedullär lokalisiert. Osteogene Tumoren sind äußerst selten und machen nur 1% aller Tumoren spinal aus. Die jeweilige Symptomatik, erforderliche Diagnostik sowie Therapie sind von Art und Lokalisation des Tumors abhängig. Das nachfolgende Kapitel geht gesondert auf die einzelnen Tumorentitäten ein und bespricht ausführlich die spezifischen Besonderheiten.
