Die Eigenschaften des Global Mindsets im Kontext der New Supply Chain Agenda

Zusammenfassung

Globale Supply Chains haben sich weg von einer reinen Produktionseffizienz hin zu einem Wertschöpfungssystem entwickelt. Dieser notwendige Transformationsprozess wird in der Literatur durch die fünf Säulen der ‚New Supply Chain Agenda‘ (NSCA) abgebildet. Nach einem kurzen Literaturüberblick über die zukünftigen Herausforderungen im Supply Chain Management in Verbindung mit einer intensiven Diskussion interkultureller Kompetenz als besonders wichtige Säule im NSCA werden die drei Dimensionen des Global Mindset – interkulturelles Kapital, soziales Kapital sowie psychologisches Kapital – analysiert und in den Kontext des global Supply Chain Managements gesetzt. Dieses Bündel an notwendigen Kompetenzen, über die eine international orientierte Führungskraft verfügen muss, um Mitarbeiter, Teams oder ganze Organisationen im Sinne der Zielerreichung führen zu können, wird dann in Beziehung zu den Säulen der New Supply Chain Agenda gesetzt. Die sinnhafte Verknüpfung der beiden Modelle sowie die damit einhergehenden Möglichkeiten, den Anforderungen an internationale Diversität zu begegnen, werden anhand anschaulicher Fallbeispiele verdeutlicht.
