Zusammenfassung
Unter der endoskopischen Therapie der Harninkontinenz versteht man die transurethrale Applikation von sog. »Bulking Agents « in den Sphinkter. »Bulking Agents« sind Substanzen, die massebildende, aufbauschende Eigenschaften besitzen, wenn sie in einen Hohlraum gespritzt werden. Hierzu zählen u. a. Kollagen (Contigen®), Teflon (Polytef®), autologes Fett, Polydimethylsiloxan (Macroplastiq ue®), Knorpel, Hyaluronsäure und Dextromer (Deflux®), Kalziumhydroxylapatit (Coaptite®) Carbon, Ethylen Vinylalkohol-Copolymer (Uryx® bzw. Tegress®), Polyacrylamidhydrogel (Bulkamid®) und das Dextranomer/Hyalyuron-Copolymer (Zuidex®).
