Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel werden Überlegungen zur Indikationsstellung für Gruppentherapie, die noch überwiegend erfahrungsbasiert sind, zusammengetragen. In Anlehnung an ein Modell von Determinanten des Erfolgs einer Gruppentherapie werden Aspekte der Indikation und Prognose und der Planung einer Gruppe differenziert nach Patientenmerkmalen, Gruppenprozessen, strukturellen Merkmalen, den formalen Veränderungstheorien und den Gruppenleitercharakteristika diskutiert.
