Abstract

In Chap. 3 we saw that because of the uncertainty relation, the location x and the momentum \(p_{x}\) of an atom cannot be simultaneously measured exactly. The classical well-defined path \(\varvec{r}(t)\) of a particle moving with velocity \(\varvec{v}(t)\) has to be replaced by the probability.
